Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors Ozarks is hiring compassionate in-home caregivers to support seniors in the Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Republic area. Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and mobility assistance in clients' homes.

Caregivers may also assist with errands, medication reminders, and incidental transportation, with flexible scheduling and a focus on safe, person-centered care that respects the elder’s independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, dishes.
• Run errands and grocery shopping when needed.
• Prepare meals and monitor medication reminders.
• Provide pet care and light yard work.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility support.
• Record and report changes to the office; clock in/out using system.
• Arrive on time for all scheduled services and maintain documentation.

Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services of Ozarks (SHS) brightens the lives of seniors who can benefit from a helping hand and a friendly smile. Our caregivers, who are seniors themselves, make life a little easier by providing compassionate care in the comfort of our care receiver’s home.

SHS empowers seniors to continue living independently by caring for day-to-day tasks that become more challenging as seniors age.

Companionship and Homemaker Duties may include:

• Provide Companionship

• Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc…

• Shopping and Errands

• Meal Preparation

• Medication Reminders

• Pet Care

• Light Yard Work

• Light Handyman Services

• Overnight Supervision

• Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family, or their favorite restaurant

Personal Care Duties may include:

• Assist with Dressing

• Assist with Feeding

• Assist with Showering / Bathing

• Mobility Assistance

• Assist with Toileting / Incontinence

• Memory Care

Other Responsibilities:

• Arrive on Time for all Services

• Caregivers may be contacted by management outside of standard office hours when coverage is needed for open shifts.
• Maintain documentation of all services provided

• Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance to our office staff

• Communicate regularly and proactively with our office staff

• Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meeting when possible

• Clock in and out using our care management system
