Job summary

CareBuilders at Home in Barrington, IL is seeking empathetic and reliable caregivers to provide personalized in-home support and companionship to clients needing help with daily activities. You will work closely with clients to promote independence and safety in their own homes.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation to appointments, and monitoring changes in health.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform light household tasks. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required)
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
