Role Description:

The Caregiver role is a full-time, on-site position located in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. Caregivers provide non-medical personal assistance, including support with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Day-to-day responsibilities include offering companionship, engaging clients in meaningful conversation and activities, preparing meals, assisting with light housekeeping, and supporting transportation to appointments or errands as needed. Caregivers are expected to observe and report changes in client condition, follow care plans, and collaborate with families to ensure consistent, dignified support. The role requires a dependable presence, clear communication, and a commitment to building trust while honoring each client’s preferences, routines, and cultural background.

• Ability to provide compassionate personal care and assistance with daily living activities (e.g., bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility support).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building trust, offering companionship, and interacting respectfully with clients and families.
• Dependability, time management, and attention to detail in following care plans, documenting observations, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Capacity to handle emotional and physical aspects of caregiving, including patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
• Basic skills in household support, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and organizing errands or transportation.
• Prior experience in home care, caregiving, or related fields (such as senior care, disability support, or respite care) is strongly preferred.
