Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands North Austin, you will be responsible for providing personalized, non-medical support services to our clients, enabling them to maintain their dignity and independence in the comfort of their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure that individuals receive the compassionate care they deserve. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call, you will have the flexibility to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities for clients.
2. Help clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing to maintain their dignity.
3. Support clients in mobility and transportation to ensure they remain active and engaged.
4. Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs, promoting health and well-being.
5. Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to maintain quality of care.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Previous experience in caregiving or a related field.
2. Empathy and compassion for clients and their families.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Flexibility in availability and willingness to work various shifts.

Bonus If You:

1. Have CPR and First Aid certification.
2. Are fluent in a second language to better serve our diverse client base.
3. Possess specialized training in elder care or disability support.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available for Full-Time, Part-Time, and On-Call shifts, accommodating a flexible schedule.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Austin, Texas.
