Job summary

CareBuilders at Home is seeking empathetic and reliable Caregivers to provide assistance and companionship to clients in their homes. This role emphasizes respect, safety, and promoting independence for individuals who need daily support.

Caregivers perform personal care, light housekeeping, and accompany clients to appointments while maintaining clear communication with families and supervisors. A CNA/HHA certification is preferred, with a valid driver’s license often required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Active CNA certification and/or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
• TB test within the last 6 months.
• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and light household tasks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required).
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
