Job summary

The Homestead at Anoka Home Health, located at 3002 4th Street, Anoka, MN 55303, USA, is seeking a Part-Time Caregiver/HHA to join our on-site team. Compensation ranges from $20.09 to $22.15 per hour, with benefits options based on years of experience.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, administering medications, documenting care, and reporting observations to the nurse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Be eighteen (18)+ years of age.
• Ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to work with little supervision and make appropriate judgments.
• Dependability, tact and ability to follow orders.
• Customer service oriented.
• Dexterity for resident care tasks.
• Ability to use computers for timekeeping and documentation.

The Homestead at Anoka is part of Volunteers of America National Services which serves as the Housing and Healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization.

Compensation: $20.09/hr- $22.15/hr (Benefit Options and based on years of experience) *Pay In Lieu of Benefits Options available

Schedule:

7:00 AM-3:00 PM (Every other weekend) 60 hours per pay period (.8)

3:00 PM- 11:00 PM (Every other weekend) 60 hours per pay period (.8)

11:00PM- 7:00AM (Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday split over two weeks) .3

Required Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Be eighteen (18)+ years of age.
• Process the ability to read, write and carry out directions.
• Have demonstrated the ability to work with little supervision and make appropriate judgment.
• Have demonstrated dependability, tact, and ability to follow orders.
• Customer service oriented.
• Possesses coordination and dexterity required to provide resident care skillfully.
• Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an Assisted Living Facility or Memory Care.
• CPR Certification
