Description du poste

Careers in ourMarket Access & Reimbursement Practice
Salary range across multiple roles $80,000 - $200,000 +/- DOE with Annual bonus potential + Benefits
The best medical device in the world means nothing if itcan'treach patients.

That'snot a metaphor. It'sa math problem, a policy puzzle, and a strategic challenge all at once, andit'swhat we solve every day. A breakthrough neurostimulator that could change millions of lives? Useless without a reimbursement pathway. A revolutionary AI diagnostic that outperforms human readers? Dead on arrival ifthere'sno CPT code and nopositivecoverage determination. A first-in-class interventional oncology device? It needs a health economic story that makes payers, hospital CFOs, and physicians all say yes.

We are the people who build those stories. And we need more of us.

We'rehiring at all levels, from sharp, hungry researchers ready to dive into the deep end, to experienced principal consultants and VP's who'vebuilt coverage dossiers, created novelcodesand want to do it on a global stage. If health economics lights you up, if you get genuinely excited about cracking a coding problem or building a reimbursement narrative from scratch, and if you want to work on technologies that are genuinely first-in-class,this is where you belong

Avania's Market Access and Reimbursement team works at the critical intersection of clinical evidence, health economics, and commercial strategy for the most innovative medical devices and diagnostics on the planet. We'renot processing paperwork. We'rearchitecting the market entry strategies thatdeterminewhether breakthrough technologiesactually reachthe patients who need them.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Cracking the code on marketaccess,literally

You'llresearch, analyze, and develop coding, coverage, and payment strategies for medical devices and IVDs across the US, European, and APAC healthcare systems. Every project is different because every technology is different. That'sthe point.

Buildingthe evidence story.

You'llconduct deep primary and secondary research, review clinical peer-reviewed literature, and synthesize the state of the science into compelling narratives that payers and providers can act on.You'renotsummarizing, you'retranslating clinical evidence into economic arguments.

Working directly with clients

From VC-backed startups bringing their first device to market to globalMedTechmanufacturers expanding into new geographies, you'llmanage client relationships, lead calls, and educate stakeholders on what itactually takesto get a device reimbursed. You'llbe the person they rely on to navigate one of the most complex parts of commercialization.

Delivering work that matters

You'lldraft proposals, Statements of Work, technical reports, and strategic assessments. The quality bar is high because the stakes arehigh, your analysis directly shapes whether a company's go-to-market strategy succeeds or fails.

Goingglobal

The USpayerlandscape is our home base, but our work spans European HTA systems, APAC market access frameworks, and emerging global reimbursement models. If you want to understand how healthcare systemsactually work, not just in theory, but in practice across borders, this is your classroom.

What Makes This Different
The technology.

Wedon'tdocommodity devices. Our portfolio includes neurostimulation systems, AI-powered diagnostics, interventional cardiology platforms,cutting-edgewearables, and SaMD products that areliterally inventingtheir own reimbursement categories. You'llwork on things thatdon'thave precedent, andyou'llhelp create it.

The integration.

Market accessdoesn'toperatein a vacuum here. You'llcollaborate daily with regulatory strategists, clinical development leads, R&D engineers, and AI/SaMD experts. That cross-functional model means your market access strategies are informed by the full picture, and your work shapes regulatory and clinical strategy in return.

The growth.

We'rebuilding something. Thisisn'ta mature, plateaued practice where you slot into a predefined role. This is a high-growth team where your contributions directly shape the service offering, the client relationships, and the business trajectory. We have a clear career path from researcher to manager to director, and the pace of our growth means those paths are real, not theoretical.

The people.

Our team includes former payer executives, health economists, reimbursement strategists, and clinical researchers who chose consulting because they wanted to work on the most interesting problems inMedTech. The bar is high and the energy is higher.

The reward.

Competitive compensationcommensuratewith experience, benefits, development opportunities, and,for senior roles, travel and direct client leadership that builds your reputation in the industry.

The Bottom Line

Market access is where clinical science meets commercial reality. It'swhere the question shifts from "Can this device work?" to "Will this device reach the patients who need it?" If that question drives you,if you want to be the reason a transformative technologyactually makesit tomarket,we want to talk.

We areMedTech's trusted champions. Come build with us.
