Job summary

Adams and Associates, a DOL-contracted operator for Shriver Job Corps in Devens, MA, seeks a full-time education services professional to guide students toward employment or further training.

You will work with Career Technical Training and Career Transition staff to provide individualized case management, conduct community job development, and support student success through ongoing counseling and supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with related experience as specified.

Responsibilities

• Provides students with transitional support and placement services leading to full-time jobs, higher education or advanced training.
• Coordinates with Career Technical Training and Career Transition staff to deliver individualized case management to address transitional barriers.
• Uses discretion to resolve issues and ensure student success after Job Corps.
• Conducts community job development activities with business and community leaders.
• Follows integrity guidelines and ensures accuracy of student data.
• Supports placement goals and develops mentoring relationships during the Career Transition Phase.
• Provides personalized career counseling and evaluates student performance.
• Oversees and updates student transition plans to ensure successful outcomes.
• Develops center partnerships that provide quality, industry-relevant employment opportunities.
• Provides supervision and guidance to students and collaborates with all departments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field from an accred­ited school

Associates degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field from an accredited school and two years related experience
