Job summary

You will develop and monitor transition plans, build relationships with employers and community partners, and address barriers through case management while ensuring accurate documentation and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Provide individualized career counseling, mentoring, and transition support to students preparing for life after Job Corps.
• Develop, monitor, and update student transition plans focused on employment, education, and career success.
• Support students in achieving placement goals while meeting DOL and company performance standards.
• Build relationships with employers, community organizations, and industry partners to create meaningful career opportunities.
• Conduct job development activities and connect students with employment, training, and education resources.
• Identify and address barriers that impact student success through effective case management and problem-solving.
• Maintain accurate student documentation while following all integrity guidelines and confidentiality requirements.
• Collaborate with Career Technical Training (CTT), Career Transition, and center staff to provide comprehensive student support.
• Mentor students in Career Success Standards, professionalism, accountability, and workplace readiness.
