Job summary

NSA seeks Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) to support SIGINT missions. Roles may be within the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or direct hire into analytic offices.

LADP lasts up to three years and includes multiple operational tours with classroom and computer-based training. Applicants must have ILR level 2/2 in reading/listening, and relevant experience in translation, transcription, or analysis.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 reading and listening required for target language.
• 1+ year in language-related work (translation, transcription, etc.) or related fields like intelligence, security studies, or STEM.
• Entry/Developmental requires HS diploma + 4 yrs or Associate's +2 yrs or Bachelor's with no experience; Full Performance +7 yrs; Senior +10 yrs; leadership experience counts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze foreign language materials to produce intelligence products.
• Transcribe, translate, and assess foreign language content as part of SIGINT mission.
• Engage with partners and customers across the Intelligence Community to support analytic tasks.
• Mentor or lead other Language Analysts as needed; contribute to training and quality assurance.
• Maintain awareness of relevant technology trends and methodology in language analysis.
