Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a qualified Career Technical Training instructor to deliver engaging lessons, maintain classroom discipline, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the assigned trade. You will use multimodal teaching methods, build student rapport, and ensure proper attendance and record-keeping while guiding students toward credentials.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred); valid driver’s license; experience with diverse youth; state

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate degree is preferred.
• Experience in vocational trade is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in the employment state with acceptable driving record.
• Certification/licensing in the state or pursuing certification is required or may be waived if not available.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a positive classroom atmosphere to maximize student motivation.
• Maintains a high degree of discipline to ensure maximum learning.
• Functions as SME for the Career Technical Training field.
• Uses multimodal approaches to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Establishes strong student/instructor rapport and maintains good attendance records.
• Prepares lessons and aligns curriculum with Industry Standards and Training Achievement Record.
• Updates Training Achievement Record (eTAR) as required.
• Assists with job placement, internships, and credential attainment.
• Operates in accordance with PRH, SOPs, and corporate policies.
• Communicates CSS and employability skills effectively.
