Qualifications

• Certification or licensing in the state is required or pursued.
• Experience with diverse youth is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a positive classroom atmosphere to motivate students.
• Maintains discipline to maximize learning.
• Acts as SME for Career Technical Training to instruct students.
• Delivers lessons using multimodal approaches to accommodate learning styles.
• Maintains lesson plans and aligns curriculum with industry standards.
• Records attendance and assists with required forms.
• Supports job placement efforts and develops industry partnerships.
• Ensures safety and cleanliness of classrooms and shops.
• Keeps up-to-date with eTAR and reports on student progress.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Associate degree preferred

Certified/licensed in the state or accredited by a professional trade organization

Experience working with diverse youth

Valid driver’s license in the state of employment
