Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions, LLC is seeking a Career Technical Training instructor in Palmer, AK. You will provide CTT instruction, coordinate with the training team, and support academic instruction and work-based learning in compliance with directives.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field and two years of law enforcement experience, plus a valid driver’s license and a background check. Work is primarily in an office setting with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
• Two (2) years recent work experience in law enforcement with a state or federal agency.
• Background check and drug test required.
• Current, valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with CTT instruction in a designated area of instruction.
• Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, and/or study habits.
• Coordinate with other industry team members to resolve issues affecting student training.
• Develop and prepare lessons. Recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.
• Participate in student performance evaluations. Prepare required documentation and evaluations.
• Administer and correct tests. Maintain progress and attendance reports.
