Job summary

IMDiversity is seeking a Paraprofessional for a school-based role located at Lambert High. The position supports teachers in meeting students' educational, behavioral, and social needs within an annual salary framework.

Qualifications include a GaPSC paraprofessional license or equivalent, and an associate’s degree or higher, with the ability to work on-site and lift up to 50 lbs. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia PSC paraprofessional license.
• Associate’s degree or higher (GaPSC-accepted) or pass GACE with HS diploma/HSE.
• Proven ability to work with others in a confidential, cooperative, and service-oriented manner; excellent listening and communication skills.
• Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.
• Ability to be present at the physical worksite.
• May be regularly required to walk, stand, sit, crouch, crawl, push/pull, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to properly and consistently supervise students, particularly during emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide small group and/or individualized instruction to assigned students.
• Assist teachers with daily classroom management activities to support effective learning environments.
• Assist with assessment of student performance and record-keeping tasks.
• Assist with development and organization of instructional materials, ensuring availability prior to scheduled segments.
• Perform necessary clerical tasks as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
