Job summary

The State of South Carolina's SCCB is seeking Career Specialists in Columbia and Greenville to provide career readiness services to individuals who are blind or have low vision, build employer partnerships, and coordinate Work-Based Learning Experiences.

Responsibilities include delivering workshops, assisting with job search strategies, maintaining records in the agency case management system, and supporting disability employment education. Frequent in-state travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recruitment, Workforce Development, or related field.
• Experience in vocational rehabilitation, workforce development, or employment services.
• Experience working with individuals who are blind or have low vision.

Responsibilities

• Provide career development services to individuals who are blind or have low vision.
• Develop employer partnerships and coordinate Work-Based Learning Experience (WBLE).
• Deliver workshops, resume development, and interview skills training.
• Document consumer services in the agency case management system and maintain logs.
• Perform related duties, travel within-state as required.
