Job summary

TrinityRail in Eagle Pass, Texas, plant 1041, is hiring a Career Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator. You will operate a forklift, transfer and unload incoming trucks, and organize material in the yard or while loading trucks.

The role requires experience with a 30,000 lb forklift, ability to read safety rules, and willingness to work overtime. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred, and certification will be provided with a driving test before hire.

Qualifications

• Speaks and understands English and Spanish.

The Career Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who doesn’t stray away from a challenge. As a shipping and receiving forklift operator at Trinity Rail, you’ll operate mobile equipment such as a forklift, and transfer and unload incoming trucks, and organize material in the yard or while loading trucks.

What you'll do:

• Must have experience driving and operating a 30,000 Lb. forklift and heavy equipment or material.
• Operate a 30,000 lb. forklift, lift trailers and truck to move steel material or transfer loads.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned in the yard, pick up dunnage and maintain workspace clean and organized
• Must be dependable and able to work shift work or overtime as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Speak and understand English and Spanish
• Minimum of 1 yr experience on a 30, 000 lb forklift
• Certification will be provided and a driving test of equipment will be given before hiring.
