Job summary

Trinity Industries, Inc. in Saginaw, TX is hiring a Career Heavy Assembler to join our rail manufacturing team focused on quality and safety.

You will use mechanical fastening (bolts, nuts, hucks), apply torque sequences, and use hand tools to form parts, while following all safety rules and participating in safety initiatives. Prior experience in industrial or rail manufacturing is a plus, and minimal one year experience is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or construction environments is beneficial.
  • Rail or steel manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize mechanical fastening (bolts, nuts, hucks).
  • Apply appropriate torque sequence and values (certified).
  • Utilize hand tools to bend or form parts.
  • Follow all safety rules and practices.
  • Be involved in safety committees or initiatives, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll do:

  • Utilize mechanical fastening (bolts, nuts, hucks)

Perform other duties as assigned

What you'll need:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment is beneficial
  • Previous experience in rail or steel manufacturing industry is a plus!
