Job summary

Lincoln Tech is seeking an Assistant Director of Career Services to lead career services operations and improve graduate employment outcomes. You will coach students, manage staff, and partner with leadership to meet placement goals.

The role blends hands-on coaching with operational oversight, requiring strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to train a team in a dynamic, results-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Career Services experience.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Operational mindset with strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Experience training and developing staff.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new platforms quickly.
• Results-driven with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Career Services in managing department operations and achieving placement targets.
• Train, develop, and supervise career services staff.
• Provide one-on-one career coaching and job search assistance to students and graduates.
• Deliver workshops on resume writing, interviewing, and professional development.
• Build relationships with local employers to create job opportunities.
• Develop a pipeline of qualified job opportunities aligned with graduate skills and training.
• Plan and execute on-campus job fairs, employer presentations, and recruiting events.
• Track graduate employment outcomes and maintain contact until placement.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure accreditation standards compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support student and graduate success.
