Job summary

Gurnick Academy Of Medical Arts Llc is seeking a Career Services Coordinator for our Sacramento campus to prepare students for the job market and facilitate placement with employers. The role includes organizing workshops, mock interviews, resume prep, and job-search guidance while building relationships with employers and alumni.

You will manage placement data, organize job fairs, and actively participate in campus career initiatives to connect graduates with opportunities in the region.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred or two years related experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of Google Docs and Google Sheets.
• Organizational knowledge of educational institutions.
• Outside Sales experience.
• Preferred management experience in a school or recruiting environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare students for the job market by presenting and facilitating Career Services Workshops and one-on-one mentoring.
• Assist in placing students by building relationships with potential employers and searching for job opportunities on advertising sites and company pages.
• Organize and conduct Mock Interviews, Resume Preparation and workshops to prepare students to interface and communicate professionally.
• Organize Job Search workshops addressing issues of professional behavior, body language and interview attire.
• Provide job leads and referrals to graduates.
• Organize Alumni events to generate placement referrals and understand the regional employment market.
• Maintain placement statistics and data for all programs.
• Organize regular Job Fairs with prospective employers to facilitate employment.
• Maintain strong communication and follow-up with employers and participate in Graduates Evaluations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with placement agency representatives for workshops and seminars.
