Tulsa Welding School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is seeking a dynamic Director of Career Services to lead the Career Services team and guide students from graduation to workforce planning. This role requires a caring personality, strong communication, and a resilient work ethic.

You will develop programs for students, graduates and alumni, build relationships with industry partners to create job opportunities, and ensure compliance with accreditation bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Proven leadership and coaching ability.
• Ability to pass background and drug checks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and administer career development programs for students, graduates and alumni.
• Build relationships with industry partners to identify employment opportunities.
• Create strategies to support graduating students.
• Maintain department compliance with government accreditation and other regulatory bodies.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities: planning, directing, evaluating staff; rewarding and disciplining; addressing complaints.
• Complete weekly/monthly reports as directed.
• Identify critical problems and coordinate solutions with necessary personnel.
• Partner with compliance regarding placement verification and documentation processes and policies.
