Job summary

Goddard Riverside in New York City seeks a founding Career Services Coordinator for its Train and Earn Program located at Lincoln Square. You will guide participants toward healthcare employment, build referrals, and strengthen workforce development networks.

Reporting to the Director of Train and Earn and collaborating with the CASH team, you will help 60 participants annually achieve job attainment and retention through tailored support and connection to partner resources.

Goddard Riverside is one of New York City’s leading human service organizations meeting the basic needs of children, youth and families, homeless people, and older adults across Manhattan and New York City.

Position Summary: The Education and Workforce Development Department is seeking experienced, dynamic, and highly focused individual(s) to serve as the founding Career Services Coordinator in its Train and Earn Program located within Lincoln Square Neighborhood Center. This role operates under the direction of the program’s Director of Train and Earn and is responsible for encouraging success in job attainment and retention for 60 participants annually. In collaboration with the larger Career and Alumni Services Hub (CASH) team, the Career Services Coordinator will provide guidance and assistance services for young adults pursuing employment opportunities in the Healthcare Sector. The Career Service Coordinator will focus on the development of referrals, resources, and workforce development networks that will support participants over time, ultimately yielding successful outcomes leading to long-term success.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 35 hours per week, 9:30am-5:30pm

Salary Range: $53,500-$60,000

Candidates must have the required qualifications to be considered for the position. The salary offer will be based on the candidate’s number of years experience in the exact or comparable position and additional preferred qualifications will be taken into account.
