Job summary

You will use EmployOklahoma, process UI claims, and collaborate with staff and employers to deliver employment support. Regular hours, non-exempt status, and minimal travel are expected.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in employment services, career or vocational guidance and counseling, personnel, recruitment, training, customer services or social services related work; or an equivalent combo substituting college hours for experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and promote career assessment and vocational counseling via applicant interview and qualification evaluation.
• Utilize EmployOklahoma for registering customers for employment and training services.
• Establishes unemployment insurance benefit claims and interprets related laws.
• Communicate with management, employers, applicants, and coworkers about job orders and referrals.
• Provide professional career and employment services with priority to veterans and special-needs clients.
• Maintain excellent customer service and ensure a welcoming office atmosphere.
• Assist with UI eligibility, filing UI claims, and UI compensation services.
