Job summary

State of Oklahoma is hiring a Career Coordinator in Oklahoma City. The position is full-time and regular, with standard 8:00am–5:00pm hours and non-exempt status. Salary is listed, and employees receive a comprehensive benefits package. The role focuses on career assessment, job placement, and unemployment services within the OKC Center - OESC.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in employment services, career or vocational guidance and counseling, or related work.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience (30 semester hours equals 3 years of experience).

Responsibilities

• Provide career assessment and vocational counseling via applicant interview and qualification evaluation.
• Register customers for EmployOklahoma and unemployment services.
• Establish unemployment insurance claims and interpret benefit provisions.
• Maintain records and report on job orders, referrals, and unemployment outcomes.
• Deliver customer-focused service and support front-desk duties.
