Job summary

ECPI University seeks a proactive Career Services Advisor to work with recent graduates, alumni and students to optimize job search outcomes. The role collaborates with local employers to create opportunities, coordinate on-campus recruiting, and deliver career coaching and events.

Responsibilities include coaching, resume and interview support, employer outreach, and maintaining student records in compliance with policies and accreditation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• 2-3 years of related experience in recruiting, staffing, business to business sales, or career coaching.
• Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching to ECPI graduates in job search, resume writing, and interview skills.
• Participate in student-focused Career Services events and seminars.
• Interview students and graduates to strategize their professional job search.
• Provide excellent customer service to students, graduates and employers.
• Maintain student information files in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Initiates, develops and manages employer partnerships to establish career opportunity leads and networking opportunities.
• Assist employers in prescreening and coordinating interviews.
• Coordinate employer visits, on-campus recruiting events, job fairs and networking events.

We are currently seeking an energetic, friendly, organized individual for the Career Services Advisor role. This position will work closely with ECPI’s recent graduates, alumni and students to optimize their career opportunities. In addition, this position will engage with local businesses and employers to establish career opportunity leads and networking opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching to ECPI graduates in all aspects of their job search initiatives including personal marketing, resume writing, and interview skills
• Participate and provide support in student focused Career Services events and seminars.
• Interview students and graduates to assist in strategizing for their professional job search.
• Provide excellent customer service to students, graduates and employers.
• Maintain student information files in accordance with all school and company policies and procedures, all applicable federal, state regulations and all accrediting agencies standards and requirements.

Employer Engagement

• Initiates, develops and manages business partnerships with employers to establish career opportunity leads and networking opportunities for ECPI University recent graduates, alumni and current students.
• Actively and routinely seeks employer feedback and researches industry trends; builds and maintains strong relationships.
• Assists employers in the prescreening process and coordination of interviews.
• Coordinates employer visits, on-campus recruiting events, job fairs, networking events and career development workshops.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• 2-3 years of related experience- recruiting, staffing, business to business sales, career coaching.
• Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.

• Must be self-motivated, goal oriented and have a sense of urgency.
• Strong internet search and networking skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
