Job summary

Lincoln Tech in Queens, NY is seeking a Career Services Advisor to help students and graduates launch successful careers. You will coach job seekers, build relationships with employers, and create opportunities that change lives. You will work with students to prepare for the job market while developing a network of hiring partners.

This role is relationship-driven and focuses on connecting people with opportunities, coordinating events, and tracking outcomes to ensure successful placement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and ability to speak to groups and on the phone.
• Relationship builder who enjoys connecting with people.
• Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new technology platforms.
• Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting performance targets.

• Delivery of workshops on resume writing, interviewing, and professional development.
• Build and maintain relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities.
• Develop a pipeline of qualified job opportunities aligned with graduate skills and training.
• Coordinate job fairs, employer visits, and on-campus recruiting events.
• Track graduate employment outcomes and maintain contact until successful placement.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with accreditation standards.

In this role, you'll be the bridge between education and employment--coaching job seekers, building relationships with local employers, and creating opportunities that change lives. You'll work directly with students and recent graduates to prepare them for the job market, while simultaneously developing a network of employer partners who are actively hiring. This is a relationship-driven role where your success comes from connecting the right people with the right opportunities.
