Qualifications

• Requires two years of experience in the trade of instruction and one year of teaching experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and train students effectively.

Responsibilities

• Teaches basic principles and concepts of vocational skills to students.
• Maintains classroom discipline to maximize learning.
• Collaborates with instructors to develop and deliver applied academics.
• Uses curricular resources available at the center.
• Prepares classrooms and materials for instruction.
• Assist in achieving performance goals via TARs and OMS reports.
• Provide instruction and remedial training to help students obtain industry certifications or complete ACT/AT.
• Maintain student records including attendance, test scores, and evaluations.
• Assist in preparing students' resumes and career materials.
• Ensure accommodations are provided for students with disabilities as needed.
