CT State Community College is seeking a Career Readiness Coordinator at the Waterbury campus to collaborate with the Director of Career Services in creating career opportunities for students and connecting academic studies with practical work experiences regionally.

The role emphasizes marketing career programs to employers and students, guiding students on employment readiness, and supporting programs across cooperative education, career services, and grant-funded initiatives.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with two or more years of related experience in career development, placement, education administration, or business.
• Strong job placement or recruiting knowledge and career advising abilities.
• Experience in a college/university setting preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Responsabilidades

• Develop employment opportunities for students and opportunities with area employers.
• Market the college’s career programs to employers, students, and faculty.
• Guide students on career-related employment and skill-building.
