Ohio University is inviting applications for a Visiting Professor position on the OHIO Career Ready Campus (Aspire). The 20-hour-per-week, grant-funded instructor role will operate at multiple sites including Athens Campus, Nelsonville Tri-County Career Center, Logan's HAPCAP Social Market, and industry partners.

The successful candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree and show experience teaching adult learners; on-site, blended, and/or virtual instruction will be used; background check is

Qualifications

• All OHIO CRC Instructors need a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree to instruct adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Instruct adult learners in classes including adult basic education.
• High school equivalency (GED®) preparation.
• Workforce literacy and readiness education.
• Transition to postsecondary education.
