Job summary

The South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department is seeking a Training Center staff member to deliver job readiness training to consumers and help them achieve competitive employment.

You will develop and modify job-relevant skills, ensure deadlines are met, and support compliance with SCVRD, DOL, and OSHA standards in a safe training environment. You will also participate in the SCEIS system for materials, inventory, and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Business Administration or related field, or two years college with two years rehab/manufacturing experience, or high school diploma with four years rehab/manufacturing experience.
• Must have good driving record.
• Official transcripts may be required to verify degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide job readiness training to consumers to help achieve and maintain competitive employment.
• Offer supportive training to develop, modify, and improve job-relevant skills and behaviors.
• Instruct consumers to meet deadlines and comply with business partners' quality/quantity requirements.
• Ensure Training Center complies with SCVRD, DOL, and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Serve on the SCEIS team handling transactions for materials, inventory, and deliveries.
