Qualifications

• Current Augsburg University student in good academic standing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfortable speaking in front of groups and facilitating presentations.
• Friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic about engaging with fellow students.
• Excellent customer service skills and a welcoming attitude.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating as part of a team.
• Comfortable learning and using technology platforms such as Handshake, Navigate, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Connect with Augsburg students to mentor them in major and career decisions through career education.
• Staff drop-in hours to assist resume/cover letter reviews and internship strategies.
• Attend training and regular meetings to develop career management skills.
• Promote career resources, events, and services across campus.
• Assist with planning, promoting, and staffing Career Center workshops and events.
• Welcome visitors at Career Center events and help with setup and check-in.
• Gather student feedback to improve programs and outreach.
