Job summary

SolutionHealth in Nashua, NH is seeking a Workforce Development Specialist to design and manage programs that build employee career growth and internal mobility. This grant-funded role partners with leaders, educational institutions, and community organizations to create innovative workforce solutions that meet staffing needs.

You will coach employees, develop apprenticeship programs, and analyze metrics to drive program improvements, reporting to the Director of Workforce Development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Workforce Development, Education, Organizational Development, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of five years in workforce development, talent development, or related HR/education roles.
• Strong coaching, consulting, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience using data to drive program decisions and outcomes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Workday and analytics/dashboard tools preferred.
• Knowledge of workforce development principles, talent pipelines, and mobility practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized career coaching and guidance for professional growth and internal opportunities.
• Develop and manage workforce development programs including apprenticeships, career pathways, and ESOL.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and leaders to support internal mobility and retention.
• Assess needs, identify gaps, and define talent pipeline requirements for critical roles.
• Coordinate apprenticeship programs from coaching to completion.
• Build partnerships with colleges, workforce agencies, and educational vendors.
• Support student pipelines, internships, and career exploration activities.
• Analyze metrics and create dashboards/reports to inform program improvements.
• Facilitate workshops and presentations for employees, leaders, students, and partners.
• Represent SolutionHealth at workforce events and community initiatives.
