Job summary

Eckerd Connects is seeking a Workforce Advisor in Philadelphia, PA to support participants with employment, retention, and program completion. You will recruit employers, deliver work readiness training, and coordinate activities in the community to help participants advance toward their goals.

The role requires a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred), 3+ years in the field, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a drug screen.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to drive for business purposes.
• Must pass a drug screen per policy.

Responsibilities

• The Workforce Advisor is the primary point of contact with participants and others in their circle of influence, ensuring eligibility, participation, and documentation.
• Identify and recruit target populations and employers, and seek employment and educational opportunities for participants.
• Deliver skills training in software applications, work readiness, and basic remedial math/reading; develop facilitation skills.
• Engage with employers and community organizations to market the program and support participants' success.
