Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries in Lincoln, CA is hiring for an entry-level labor position at our Lincoln sawmill. This role offers on-the-job training with the opportunity to learn various jobs across production, equipment maintenance, and supervision, paving the way for career growth within a large, family-owned company.

The work is fast-paced and includes repetitive lifting, shoveling and sweeping of wood byproducts, and stacking lumber.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have recent, related work history and verifiable references.

• Learn to fill in on various machine stations within the sawmill.
• Shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts.
• Stack and pile lumber.
• Work is fast-paced and can be demanding at times.
• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold environments.
• Work may include various shifts with overtime and weekend work during busy production times.
