The NDT Quality Inspector is responsible for determining if products meet all specified requirements and for completing inspection records and reports in accordance with relevant codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

What you’ll do:

1. Inspect incoming materials, outgoing materials, or products throughout the manufacturing process.
2. Apply single or multiple inspection processes using various NDE methods.
3. Maintain, adjust, or calibrate inspection equipment.
4. Complete inspection records and reports accurately.
5. Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, procedures, and standards.
6. Follow all safety rules and practices; may participate in safety committees or continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

1. Proficiency in using inspection tools and measuring equipment.
2. Understanding and application of quality science and tools.
3. Certification to conduct and approve two or more NDE methods (such as bubble leak, dye penetrant, ultrasound).
4. Basic knowledge of the operational functions of the items inspected.
5. Ability to work under the supervision of Level II or III Certified Inspectors.
