Job summary

Michigan Works! Southeast in Hillsdale, MI is seeking a Career Advisor for the WIOA Adult & Dislocated Worker Programs. You will provide case management, enroll clients, and facilitate orientations to help job seekers qualify for opportunities with local employers.

You will work under the Service Center Manager, collaborating across centers to deliver services and support for diverse communities in Southeast Michigan.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to clients in workforce programs.
• Enroll clients in applicable programs and determine eligibility.
• Schedule and facilitate program orientations and intakes.
• Assess client skills and coordinate required documentation.
• Deliver program trainings and workshops.
• Maintain knowledge of WIOA and related program rules.
