Job summary

Travel up to 20% is required within business hours. The position requires residents of New Mexico and strong facilitation, communication, and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related field and minimum two year’s work experience in related field; or a satisfactory equivalent of education and experience (Social Services, Human Resource, Communication, Business or equivalent experience).
• Strong facilitation, public speaking, and guided learning.
• Excellent customer service and ability to relate to diverse populations.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and specialized databases.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, and maintain information in databases reflecting participant history.
• Provide case management for SNAP E&T participants to prepare for employment.
• Manage ongoing caseload and support job seeker retention.
• Schedule and conduct workshops and webinars for readiness activities.
• Coordinate with Business Services on online learning and progress monitoring.
• Administer pre/post-test assessments and skill evaluations.
• Develop career plans and tailor coaching to individual needs.
• Engage with area businesses to develop opportunities for participants.
