Job summary

YWCA Hartford Region, Inc. is seeking a Career Development Coach to act as an ambassador and resource navigator for participants in the YWCA, YWCL, and Personal Finance programs.

You will facilitate workshops, guide participants in setting SMART goals, and coordinate activities with program site partners to deliver comprehensive services. The role encompasses collaboration, recruitment, facilitation, coaching, and reporting, including curriculum implementation, resume/interview support, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in education, social work, community development, or related degree.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• 5+ years in leadership development, program management, and teaching.
• 3–5 years developing educational programs and courses focused on digital technology and nontraditional adult education.
• Experience in education sector, teaching, or nonprofit training.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops and coaching sessions.
• Develop SMART personal, professional, and academic goals with participants.
• Coordinate activities with department site partners and program sites.
• Perform case management, program recruitment, and college/career placements.
• Capture and report program data for funding and outcomes.
