Job summary

Trinity TankCar, Inc. in Longview, TX is seeking a Career Insulator to apply insulation to tank cars using spray-on glue and to trim insulation to the proper length.

You will work on elevated platforms, wear a half-mask P100 respirator, Kevlar gloves, and a Tyvek suit as recommended. A full body harness and self-retracting line are required when working on top of a tank car.

What you’ll do:

Prepares and applies insulation to tank car using spray on glue.

Trim insulation to proper length by cutting away from yourself while using a utility knife.

A half-mask P100 respirator, Kevlar cut resistant gloves and 100% long sleeve cotton shirt are required.

A Tyvek suit is recommended.

Must not be afraid of heights and/or working on top of a tank car.

A full body harness and self-retracting line are required when working on top of tank.
