Join Our Team at Tallahassee State College. This full‑time, grant‑funded position is for a Career Development Specialist at the Liberty Correctional Institution in Bristol, FL.

What You’ll Do

• Administer and interpret assessments.
• Deliver the 100‑Hour Transition Skills Program curriculum.
• Deliver other programs as determined by the Department.
• Maintain and provide documentation of services delivered.
• Report monthly attendance, program enrollments, and completions on the Department’s approved form, DC5‑149 “Correctional Daily Attendance Roster.”
• Provide information regarding pre‑release connections of community providers and employers for inmate release planning services to the facility release officer.
• Assist the Pre‑Release Employment Navigators with hiring events, mock interviews, pre‑release job search, recruitment, and readiness portfolio development through face‑to‑face and technology‑based interactions.

Who We’re Looking For

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, or a high school diploma.
• Two (2) years of professional experience in workforce development, social services, or corrections.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Bonus: Associate’s degree and one year of experience in social services or corrections.
