Tallahassee State College seeks a Career Development Specialist to deliver programs for participants in restrictive housing, under the guidance of the Lead Educator. You’ll administer assessments, deliver transition skills curricula, and document outcomes, supporting inmate release planning with community resources.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree or higher with 2 years in workforce development or corrections, and are proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or high school diploma with 2 years of workforce development, social services or corrections experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Bonus: Associates degree with 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret assessments.
• Deliver the 100-Hour Transition Skills Program curriculum.
• Provide documentation of services delivered.
• Report monthly attendance, enrollments, and completions on the DC5-149 form.
