Job summary

White Cap is hiring an Operations Leader Trainee for a 12–18 month development program. You will rotate through branch operations, participate in on‑the‑job training, and work with leadership to build your career path within the company.

The program emphasizes learning business systems, operations, and customer collaboration, with mentors and regional advocates supporting your growth.

Qualifications

• Willing to relocate upon completing the program.
• Able to start the program between March and June.
• Driven to succeed with an energetic, professional, and goal‑oriented attitude.
• Strong operations focus, including the ability to partner with customers to develop value‑added solutions and experience leading or building a team.
• Strong communication skills and experience conversing with team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Experience rotational assignments in various segments of the branch business with on‑the‑job training to learn business systems and processes.
• Learn company culture and participate in leadership development sessions, operations training, and systems training.
• Presents a capstone project to White Cap leadership, creating exposure across the company.

We are hiring immediately for an Operations Leader Trainee! As an Operations Leader Trainee in White Cap’s Career Development Program, you will have the opportunity to engage in on-the-job training, job shadowing, leadership development, and partner with your manager to develop the skills and knowledge that will accelerate your career through a 12–18 month training program.

Throughout the program, you’ll learn everything from the warehouse, where it all begins, to customer service, management, and beyond.

An Operations Leader Trainee at White Cap… Experiences rotational assignments in various segments of the branch business with on-the-job training to learn business systems and processes, as well as company culture.
