Job summary

Mercer University—Dean's Office, School of Business, Macon, GA—seeks an Assistant Director of Career Development and Employer Engagement. You will provide direct career coaching and coordinate career readiness, employer engagement, and internship programs for undergraduate and graduate business students.

You will build employer relationships, deliver professional development, and collaborate with faculty and alumni to expand career opportunities and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Counseling, HR, Business Administration, Leadership, Education, or related field with two years of related experience.
• In lieu of a master's, a bachelor's degree and four years of the same experience will be considered.
• Experience with Handshake and Slate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct career development services and coordinate career readiness, employer engagement, internship, and professional development initiatives for the School of Business.
• Serve as a primary provider of career coaching and professional development to undergraduate and graduate students.
• Support employer relationships, coordinate career readiness programming, and assist with internship/experiential learning initiatives.
• Collaborate with faculty, admissions, advising, alumni, corporate partners, and career services to connect students with career opportunities.
• Contribute to assessment, reporting, and continuous improvement of programs and services.
