Job summary

Sacred Heart University seeks a Senior Associate Director of Career & Professional Development to lead career planning and job-search counseling for students in the Jack Welch College of Business and Technology. You will support employer relations, internship development, and career programming in collaboration with the Director.

The role requires 3–5 years of higher-education experience in career development or admissions, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple events

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of full-time experience, preferably in higher education in the career development or admissions function.
• Experience working with undergraduate or graduate business students is preferred.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide career planning and job search counseling for students, alumni and employers.
• Assist with employer relations and internship development for the college.
• Deliver career programming alongside the Director for students and alumni.
• Coordinate on-campus visits, information sessions and interviews.
• Assist with data collection and program evaluation for the office.
