Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in higher education career development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Internet; familiarity with career management systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to speak to groups.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all career development functions for the CAS and manage student programming, events, and internal marketing for internships and employment planning.
  • Maintain communication with employer partners and identify internship and full-time opportunities.
  • Source and secure employer partners; develop relationships.
  • Collaborate with faculty and administrators to support career needs of students.
  • Plan and oversee career fairs, etiquette dinners, information sessions, panels, and on-campus interviews.
  • Gather internship and outcomes data for CAS publications and dashboards.
  • Develop external presence with local employer partners and manage workshop offerings.
