Living Resources is seeking a dedicated professional to coach and support individuals with disabilities in securing and sustaining employment. You will manage a caseload, assess interests and goals, and tailor vocational counseling to each person’s abilities and career aims.

You will also help clients develop job-readiness skills, prepare for interviews, and provide on-the-job coaching while maintaining ongoing communication with employers and stakeholders to promote job success.

Formación

• High School Diploma
• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Degree in Human Services or related field
• Experience providing employment services to individuals with disabilities
• Familiarity with ACCES-VR and/or OPWDD HCBS Waiver Services
• Experience managing a caseload and providing community-based services

Responsabilidades

• Provide vocational counseling & guidance tailored to each individual’s abilities and career interests
• Assist individuals in developing job-readiness skills and preparing for interviews and job searches
• Provide on-the-job coaching to support individuals in learning and performing job tasks
• Maintain regular communication with employers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to support job success
• Offer travel training to ensure individuals can safely and independently commute to work
• Build and maintain relationships with local employers to identify job and internship opportunities
• Accurately document services provided, progress, and outcomes in case notes and reports

What You'll Do:

Salary Description
