Job summary

State of Missouri invites you to join the DHEWD as a frontline outreach specialist, helping communities access Job Center services and participate in reemployment programs across counties.

You will travel to partner sites, screen job orders, assist with workshops and job searches, and collaborate with teams to deliver career guidance, with a focus on teamwork and accountability. The State offers a defined pension plan, paid leave, and health insurance as part of Total Compensation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Missouri driver's license.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program.
• Ability to travel as required (minimum 10%).

Responsibilities

• Promote Job Center services and benefits to customers.
• Conduct regional outreach to locate job seekers and employers.
• Coordinate with partners to provide services to job seekers and employers.
• Prescreen applicants and refer to employers.
• Assist applicants with job searches and resume writing.
• Complete apprenticeship program.
• Maintain records of job orders and qualifications.
• Attend job fairs and inform employers of services.
• Perform other duties and ensure reliable attendance.
