Job summary

Eckerd Connects in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking a Workforce Career Coach to help participants build employment, education, and life skills. The role focuses on recruitment, program engagement, and facilitating job readiness training.

You will work with participants, develop relationships with employers, deliver software and work readiness training, ensure compliance, and support career pathways.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or better.
• 3+ years relevant work experience with target population.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or online database tracking systems.
• Must have valid state driver's license and be able to drive for business purposes.
• Must pass a drug screen per policy.

Responsibilities

• The Career Coach is the primary contact for participants and coordinates eligibility, participation, case notes, and follow-up services for employment, retention, and termination.
• Recruit for the program and seek employment/educational opportunities as participants complete the program.
• Deliver skills training in software applications, work readiness, and basic math/reading remediation.
• Develop presentation and facilitation skills to engage students and meet program goals.
• Establish connections with employers and community organizations to market and advance the program.
