Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia seeks a Career Development Specialist to provide workforce development services and coaching to associates, including those in the AbilityOne program. You will coordinate with HR, leadership, and Training to develop individualized plans and monitor progress.

A Bachelor's degree is required with 1–3 years in workforce development or related fields; travel between locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 1-3 years in workforce development, coaching/mentoring, or case management preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have valid driver's license, ability to travel between locations.
• Background check including fingerprinting; compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide workforce development services to assist associates in achieving goals.
• Coach, mentor, and connect associates with HR, leadership, and Training resources.
• Develop individualized service plans and monitor progress toward goals.
• Support associates in addressing barriers and accessing community resources.
• Coordinate development efforts to maximize employment and training resources.
