Job summary

POIC, based in Portland, OR, seeks a Program Coordinator and Career Coach to support underserved residents across Multnomah and surrounding counties. You will guide participants from eligibility through placement in the clean-energy sector, coordinating with WorkSource Portland Metro and partner agencies.

You will provide ongoing soft-skill coaching, assist with barriers to employment, and maintain thorough records in I-Trac and Teams. A bachelor’s degree and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2–3 years of related experience or training.
• Experience in workforce development and placing clients with barriers in employment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eligibility and enrollment, developing individual career plans for participants.
• Engage participants to set goals and monitor progress toward employment in the clean-energy sector.
• Coordinate with WorkSource Portland Metro and partner agencies to create training opportunities.
• Provide coaching and support to ensure successful completion of training and placement.
• Document interactions and outcomes in I-Trac and maintain organized records.
