Chimes of Virginia, Inc. seeks a dedicated employment services professional to provide job development, placement, training, coaching, and ongoing supports in Martinsville, Danville, and Franklin County.

The role focuses on helping individuals with barriers achieve sustainable employment and independence. The ideal candidate brings solid communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of employment services or related experience preferred.
• Experience in case management, coaching, or supported employment is a plus.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide job development, placement, training, and coaching services.
• Deliver career skills and life skills training and employment supports.
• Provide systematic instruction on work tasks with fading assistance.
• Facilitate natural support relationships between employer, coworkers, and the employee.
• Market services to referral sources and maintain referral pipelines.
• Support family members in maintaining employment goals.
• Collaborate with adult service agencies and community organizations.
• Represent customer needs to supervisors and coworkers through education and guidance.
• Provide consumer status updates to agencies, referral sources, and management.
• Maintain extensive documentation in electronic systems, email, and reports.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
